ABOUT THE TEAM
- Our New games division’s mission is to create new hit hybrid casual music games that make interacting with music fun and a part of everyone's daily life.
- This division is responsible for coming up with ideas, developing new games through in-house game development or collaboration with partners, then publishing and continuously improving the marketability and product performance of the games until they meet the company benchmarks for transferring to operation phases.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the creation and implementation of high-quality 2D (or 3D hybrid) game assets, defining visual standards and guiding others to achieve them.
- Set and evolve art direction for the project, making strategic decisions that elevate user experience and engagement.
- Drive iteration by proactively proposing improvements, testing visual concepts, and influencing design decisions.
- Coordinate cross-discipline discussions to balance artistic vision with performance, technical limitations, and gameplay goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 year of experience as a 2D Game Artist (or General Artist) in mobile game development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or equivalent formal training.
- Ability to work across a variety of art styles and deliver consistent results.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Spine Animation
- Experience mentoring or leading other artists.
- Deep understanding of game art pipeline with strategic mindset on balancing art quality, performance, and user engagement.
NICE TO HAVE (training will be provided)
- Ability to mentor and review artwork from other artists, providing constructive feedback to ensure consistency and quality.
- Efficiency use of Figma in UI UX design, understanding of components, auto-layout as well as prototyping
- Efficiency use of Unity Engine, hierarchy, canvas, particle-system
- Understanding of AI image generation
